Dear Vinnie,
The moment I saw your pictures when you were born, awwwww... you were awesome!

I couldn't believe that Kuya is now a Daddy... You made kuya, lolo, and the whole family happy. We were wishing and hoping that you could somehow stay and live with us here in the Philippines. Anyway, I only get to see you when I chat with your dad. The power of webcam.
I will never forget November of 2009. You were about a year and a half then. Your dad surprised us. And the more unexpected part is when you came home...
The first time I saw you... I smiled and I cried. You made lolo very happy. I could not believe that you were actually in front of me. You're my kuya's "mini-me". No, let me take that back. You're lolo's "mini-me"! I cherished 2 weeks being with you and your dad. I would not forget those words that you uttered on such a young age. "Nanana" for banana and "Ootie" for cookies. You were even fond of clapping your hands after hearing Ted Failon's last statement before closing TV Patrol. With the lines, "At ako naman Si Ted Failon, naglilingkod saan man sa mundo". You were clapping and smiling. :) And the times that you cried everytime "E-mo" (Elmo with a twang) is not by your side.
Those two weeks that you have spent here made me even miss you more when you left. I know how proud your parents are..
February 2011, You came back. Wow! The moment I saw you at the airport, you were bigger and smarter! You were already conversing with us. How fast time flies. You have grown into a very smart little boy. I didn't hear those words I heard from you the last time. No more baby talk. :) Instead, I am very fond of how you say words with your own accent. And I will always remember "Toy Story 3" playing for almost 12 hours. It is so surprising that you even memorized their lines and you knew all the characters. This time, you were already playing with Ate Nicole, Rain, and of course Lolo. Seeing you every morning eating your pandesal with hotdogs and milk or even taho I should say. I am so happy everytime you call me Tita Ninam.
Your two weeks stay was worth it! We were able to talk and even play! I won't forget the time that we went home from our outing in Laguna and you just slept in my arms.
I am hoping that you will be back in two years time. Your dad told us that his goal is for you to see us every two years. Probably because he wanted you to have a vivid memory of us while you are growing up. But I hope that you'll never forget that you have a Tita who loves you so much. Don't forget to pray. Remember that all of us here in the Philippines loves you. Be thankful for your mom, dad, ate, and kuyas. Don't be stubborn okay? :)
A few years from now, read this blog over and over again and bear in mind that you'll always have me by your side whatever happens.
I love you Vinnie. Happy Birthday!
Love,
Tita Ninam
