Day 30 - A picture of you in the water

White water rafting in Cagayan De Oro --------- THE BEST!!!

I never imagined myself engaging in this kind of activity. Minsan umiiral ang inferiority complex ko at baka hindi ko kayanin. Nagpunta kami sa CDO bearing in mind na mandatory ang rafting namin. At first, super scared talaga ako. Minsan naiisip ko pa na sana hindi matuloy kasi natatakot ako. Pero nandyan na e. Ituloy na lang...

Hindi ako nagsisi. We chose Great White Water Tour for this experience. Kahit pang beginners lang yung course na kinuha namin, OMG! Sobrang sulit.

Pagsakay ko sa raft, sabi ko.. "ayos to! mukhang matibay!" :) Pero bigla kong tinanong ko si kuya na guide namin dahil wala man lang akong makitang seatbelt or harness. Aysus! Nginitian lang ako at sinabing enjoy at your own risk! Patawa si kuya. :) Sa umpisa, ok lang.. Pero sa unang rapid, medyo na tense lang ako ng slight. But it went well. The course had 14 rapids. Masaya! Pero bitin! :) Sa sobrang enjoy namin, pinagpaplanuhan na namin na bumalik at take note... sa advance course na which has 21 rapids! Woot woot! :)

Sa rafting, Php 900 per head. Inclusive of snack and lunch. Not bad.. Believe me... It's affordable! Call time namin was 8am. Pero eto na naman tayong mga Pinoy... Syempre late yung ibang grupo kaya natagalan.. Pero oks lang. We arrived the site around 10am.. They briefed us with the safety measures and commands during the activity. Better safe than sorry kaya we listened.. :)  Snack was a box of Vjandep. :) Yummy! :) Lunch was also good.. Chicken and pork barbeque. :) And not to mention, their guides were so friendly AND funny! Jokers sila kaya hindi kami na bore. :)

Almost 3 hours of rafting under the sun.. it was FUN! Basta be prepared kung ayaw nyong mangitim! Literal na nognog kami after.. Hehehehehhe!

Hindi ko pagpapalit yung rafting experience. I'm glad na once in my life.. masasabi ko na I SURVIVED and CONQUERED white water rafting! :)
